Awards Show and reception on April 24th at the Alloy in King of Prussia
- What are the Best of PA Awards?
The Best of Pennsylvania Living Awards is a juried, best-in-class competition for home building, design, and associate services. Winners represent the industry’s top talent and star projects in Bucks, Montgomery, Chester, and Delaware Counties. The winners will be announced at an in-person Awards Show and reception on April 18th at the Alloy in King of Prussia.
- How is this year’s awards process different?
While all categories from the previous awards program have been incorporated, categories have been streamlined. Builders, Developers and Associates may submit into any and all categories. All categories have an entry fee.

- Who can participate in the awards?
All HBA members in good standing with dues paid in full by 12/1/24 to either the HBA of Bucks and Montgomery Counties or the HBA of Chester and Delaware Counties – including member companies and their employees. The categories encompass all aspects of the industry so there is a place for everyone to receive recognition. Some categories are specific to trade, associate, or builder – but many categories apply to all segments of the industry.
- How do I enter?
Check out the Submit an entry page more details and to determine which categories you want to participate in.
Then submit your nomination online here. After that, use your entry number and complete the appropriate form for each category. All completed forms and any additional entry materials must be submitted to entries@teampmp.com no later than March 14.
- What is the entry period and area coverage?
Your product must be continually offered through December 31, 2024, to be eligible.
Your project (not business) must be located in Bucks, Chester, Delaware, or Montgomery Counties.
- How are the entries judged?
The building industry awards specialist, Team PMP, has been secured to manage the entire competition.
They will handle all entries. Judges from outside of the market area will gather to determine the winners for each category.
JUDGING PROCEDURE
MARKETING & DESIGN CATEGORIES
Judges review the marketing entries by category and score each based on the written criteria.
Judges review the entries on screen, hear the marketing statements submitted, and discuss the aspects of the entry. After all entries are reviewed by the group, judges score ballots independently.
PROFESSIONAL ACHIEVEMENT CATEGORIES
Judges review the submitted nomination forms and then may choose to meet with the qualified candidates for a 10-minute interview. Candidates are scored based on the written criteria and their interviews. After all entries within a category are potentially interviewed, judges score their ballots independently.
COMMUNITY OF THE YEAR
Judges review all the entries written detail as a group, the judges score their ballots independently.
